YEKATERINBURG, Jul 4 (PRIME) -- Russian antivirus software maker Kaspersky expects its foreign clients who left after February 24 to return in a year or a year and a half, General Director Yevgeny Kaspersky said on Monday at the Innoprom-2022 forum.
“We make the world’s best cybersecurity products. Some time will pass, a year or a year and a half, and the majority of our clients who went away after February 24, they will come back. In 2018, we saw pressure from America, there was well-organized true bullying. We had clients that abandoned us and then came back in a year or two. The situation now is the same,” Kaspersky said.
The client outflow in the U.S. and Europe has been strongest since February 24, while Latin America and the Middle East showed minor growth, while Asia was flat or falling.
Regardless of the fleeing clients, the company’s offices in Europe and the U.S. still function, and the sales persist. “We have a great deal of loyal users,” the top executive said.
